Evaluation of torque expression with varied bracket positions and varying crown-root angles of maxillary central incisor – A 3 dimensional finite element study

To evaluate the torque expression of right permanent maxillary central incisor with varying bracket positions and to compare same tooth different crown-root angulations. Finite Element Models Maxillary Central Incisor were used for simulation various angles. Three FEM models a angles (170˚,175˚,180˚, 165°) constructed heights subjected 30° labial root resultant expressions evaluated. The model maximum variation in angle (165˚) showed at 6mm minimum 3mm height while (180°) both height. With increase tooth, away from incisal edge increases.
